I’m trying a new clothing line called Khush on the website and this is how I discovered it. My family recently went to Hawaii for my in-laws 50th anniversary and I did some boutique shopping. One of the dresses I bought thrilled me because the soft, lightweight, gorgeous fabric and the style of the dress was a classic kaftan and it was Khush. I learned about kaftans from my idol Rachel Zoe who wears them like a uniform. I selected a few different styles in a few different colors and patterns, giving a diverse selection perfect for spring, for ladies traveling to exotic places and looking fabulous while being comfortable in our Arizona heat.
Being able to throw on one piece and having it be a complete outfit is one of my favorite things, easy and elevated. These dresses show the assets very well with open necklines and high side slits to show the legs. Let me show you:
This patterned caftan maxi dress is one of my favorite dresses. The background color is a bluish gray and the pattern is vertical and snake-like which will lengthen the body. The surplice front is flattering and allows for wearing a beautiful necklace. The flowy sleeves are comfortable and conceal any imperfections. The empire elastic waist is flattering and the high side slits give a pop of leg.
The royals dress is the same cut but in a mid calf length. The bold fuschia color is beautiful and has a somewhat marble pattern. There are side slits in this dress as well. Wear it to a luau or to an outdoor wedding.
The made me blush dress is a beautiful blush color in a somewhat ikat pattern. This dress also has a sexy open neckline and flowy sleeves with an elastic empire waist. An open lace pattern along the neckline is a stunning detail. The length is mid calf which we call midi length and there are side slits on both sides of the skirt.
The desert dreams dress is a gorgeous golden dress with a black tie dye ribbon. This dress style is different than the others in that it has a low cut back, ties on the sides and a pleated empire waist. It is a full length maxi dress that would work well as a swim cover up or as a dress.
The green goddess top has an open neckline, dramatic flared sleeves and an elastic waistline. The murky green is stunning and can be worn any time of year. There is lace detailing along the neckline adding a design detail that enhances the top further. We paired it with a pair of black jeans but it would look fabulous with a leather pencil skirt.
Whichever you choose, the fabric and styling of each of these fabulous garments will make it one you wear often. Made in Indonesia, these items feel incredible against the skin. Khush will be your new favorite brand, I’m sure of it.
