Clothes Minded Summer Essentials

Summer starts June 21, in less than a month and in fashion, it’s best to be prepared. We’ve got everything a person needs for pool days, from swimwear, tote bags and towels to floppy hats and sunnies to shade your face and eyes. We also have many shorts selections as well as tanks and other lightweight tops. Then there’s the dresses, of which our selection is fantastic, from lightweight jersey knit throw on daily kinds of dresses to gorgeous maxis and everything in between.

Here are some of our faves:

The jelly sandal comes in two colors and is a modern take on an old trend. Emulating a famous brand, these easy slip on shoes will be worn on the daily.

The summer dress comes in four colors and is the perfect answer when the temperatures are high because it is cool and fun and colorful. Throw this dress on over your swimsuit and look chic pool side.

We are testing a new brand of sunglasses and are very impressed with the styles and the quality. We only ordered two of each style so if you see one you like you better grab it quick before it’s gone. Sunglasses are one of those things that you can never have just one, so snag a couple and don’t forget the chain that will keep them at conveniently located so you don’t have to go rummaging through your purse.

Kimonos are a great answer to the extremely hot outside and extremely cold inside conundrum. A kimono is lightweight and easy to fold up in your bag. Pull it out and cover your shoulders when you’ve had enough sun and pull it out again when you’re inside the air conditioned indoors. Kimonos look great over dresses or with shorts and tanks, wear them as a swim cover up too.

Any time you’re in the sun, sunscreen is essential. You can double your protection with a hat and we’ve got a good selection.
